Shawn M. Scott is licensed to practice law in both Indiana and Illinois.  After graduating from Hanover College in 2000, Ms. Scott attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where she earned a J.D. and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property.

Mrs. Scott concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate/trust administration, business law and succession planning and real estate. She advises individual and corporate personal representatives and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts.

Mrs. Scott has spoken at several legal seminars on the topics of estate planning and estate and trust administration. She is a member of the Annual Fund Advisory Board at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Mrs. Scott has been designated as an Indiana Rising Star by Law & Politics and the publishers of Indianapolis Monthly.

Ms. Scott married Sean D. Scott in 2004.  They live in Butler-Tarkington with their daughter, Jacqueline, and their two Boston Terriers.
